Event Day

The Event will be cancelled if tropical cyclone warning signal no.3 or above, and/or red or black rainstorm signal is hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory at 3:00 AM on the day of event. In all other inclement weather scenarios not specified above, the Organizers may in their sole discretion delay, suspend or cancel the Event, any Race and any ancillary entertainment activities and facilities. Such scenarios include without limitation thunderstorm warning and/or 10KM lightning warning hoisted after the cut off time; and damage or obstruction to facilities, venue or route caused by inclement weather prior to the Event. Announcements concerning delay, suspension and cancellation will be published on the Event official website.

Please pay special attention to the weather report during the 16-hour period before the Race start time as it may indicate whether tropical cyclone warning signals, or red or black rainstorm signals are likely to be hoisted. Please also follow the updates on the Event official website closely regarding the status of the Event.

No refund of entry fee or other compensation will be provided if the Event, any Race and any ancillary entertainment activities and facilities are delayed, suspended or cancelled due to inclement weather.

You should acknowledge that taking part in any of the races of the Event can be a strenuous exercise and that you should only run on the day if you have been adequately prepared. If you become aware of any unusual symptoms that may develop during the race, e.g.: Chest pain, dizziness, severe nausea, unusual shortness of breath, change in your running style, confusion and disorientation you should stop running and seek medical attention. Although you may feel it is more important to finish the race, it is your health that should always take priority.

Please read the health questionnaire and answer each one of the questions honestly. You are not required to return the completed Health Questionnaire to us, but we strongly encourage you to use it to assess your physical condition and seek medical advice as appropriate to decide whether you should participate in the event.

Runner safety is our top priority. Here are a few recommended “Dos” and Don’ts”:

DO:

• Keep hydrated
• Eat if necessary
• Listen to your body
• Take care of your health

DON’T:

• Run if you are not fit enough or not properly prepared
• Run if you have been sick or on antibiotics in the three weeks prior to the race
• Take ANY medication during the race
• Be embarrassed or afraid to stop and seek medical attention

Join Pixar friends on a fun-filled adventure through the Pixar 10K, where every step will be filled with magic and excitement as lovable Pixar characters cheer runners on. The event is co-organized by the Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates Limited and the results of the Pixar 10K will be recognized in the Hong Kong rankings (Only for Race group)!

As for the little stars of tomorrow, the all-new “Mickey and Friends Junior Races” lets mini racers vibe-and-vroom with Mickey and Friends in the park for the first time ever, and finish in Tomorrowland to play in the activity zone after the race!

• “Mickey & Friends Kids Races” is not available for awards.
• Participant will receive a “Mickey & Friends Junior Races” medal with lanyard at finish line upon completion.
• This race will run inside the park, last security checks area entry time will be 10:30 AM.
• The operation hours of the Activity Zone is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
• Each Child Participant who enrolled in “Mickey & Friends Junior Races” will have 3 wristbands.
  - One [Child Participant] wristband for access to running route and Activity Zone,
  - One [Accompanying Participant] (Aged 18 or above) wristband for access running route and Activity Zone,
  - One [Companion] wristband to enter Tomorrowland Activity Zone without joining the race.
• Only Junior Race Participants are allowed to participate in the activities located in the Activity Zone, apart from the Disney-Style Runway Awards.

Join the pre-race fashion frenzy as we turn the park into a dazzling Disney runway, then dash through the course decked out in your Disney-themed outfit for a shot at the “Disney-Style Runway Awards”!

Participants who wish to enroll in the competition for the "Disney-Style Runway Awards" ^*, please proceed to the "Disney-Style Runway Awards" Registration Booth at Event Center/ Tomorrowland in person, and The Officials will assist with photo-taking^*. Please provide your running bib for identification when registering. The photo cannot be changed or adjusted after submission. Participants must complete the relevant competition in the registered appearance.

^*Any images, photographs, videos and audio recordings of the Participants taken during their participation in the Disney-Style Runway Awards shall be owned by the Organizers and may be used in any media by the Organizers and their respective affiliates, service providers and partners for sales, marketing, promotion and publicity purposes.

The competition will be divided into:

• 3K/5K/10K - Individual Competition (1 Participant)
• 3K/5K/10K - Team Competition (2 - 8 Participants)
• Junior Races - Team Competition (2 – 3 Participants)

Regardless of Individual or Group, each participant can only enroll once per event day. Any duplicated application will be cancelled by the Organizers without prior notice.

Enrollment Cut-off Time:

• 3K/5K/10K - Starts from Event Center open until 8:00AM
• Junior Races - Starts from Tomorrowland open until 9:50AM

There will be no late enrollment accepted after the mentioned time.

Selection Criteria
Participants will be judged based on, but not limited to the following:

• Integrated Disney Elements
• Merging of creativity and comfortableness (suitable for run)
• Eye catching
• Demonstration of personality
• Team collaboration

Judge Process
The judging of the “Disney-Style Runway Awards” will be the Representative from Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and/or Representative invited by Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. The Selected finalists need attend the Ceremony at Event Center/ Tomorrowland on time, and the Champion (in each group) will be selected at the Ceremony.

Result
The list of selected finalists for the “Disney-Style Runway Awards” will be displayed on the registration booth in the Event Center/ Tomorrowland. Participants are required to check the results on the event day. The organizers will not notify finalists individually. All finalists must assemble at the Ceremony Stage at Event Center/ Tomorrowland in costume on the day of the event if they are shortlisted. Finalists who are absent from the ceremony will be disqualified without further notice.

Each Participant, whether individual or part of a team, may enroll only once per Event day. Any duplicate applications will be cancelled by the Organizers without notice.

• Participants understand and agree that Disney may use, reproduce and retain any and all any photographs, videotapes and audio recordings (collectively, "Materials") of the Participants which may be taken during their participation in the Event, for any purpose and in any manner, medium and format without incurring any liability to the Participants or any person (including the requirement to pay any compensation in respect of such use of the Materials). Participants further agree to waive, unconditionally, irrevocably, and without further payment, all moral rights and author's rights of a similar kind in relation to the Materials.
